You can reach the Cap Blanc or Punta Estrella cove by taking the road from Moraira to Calpe on the left and you have to do the last stretch on foot. A place of great beauty, ideal to spend the day and have a picnic on the beach. It is the last cove of the municipality.
Cap Blanc or Punta Estrella is a small rocky and virgin cove, 200 m long and 8 m wide, with a low level of occupancy.
The Cala Cap Blanc cliff system is part of the Natura 2000 European Network of Sites of Community Interest (SCI). It is a good place to observe sea birds such as the Atlantic gannet, the cormorant or different species of seagulls.
Access to the cove begins from an impressive balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Once at the bottom, there is a wide natural platform to leave the towels. We advise you to wear suitable beach shoes for the pebbles.
We also recommend that you bring a drink to hydrate yourself, and even some food if you plan to spend the day on the beach of Cap Blanc or Punta Estrella, since this cove does not have a beach bar or any other type of service that a beach can offer urban.
The beach of Cap Blanc or Punta Estella is not a nudist beach.
To access the sea, the City Council has installed a metal staircase.
The views are spectacular of the rugged coastline, including the Peñon de Ifach.
