Benimeit Moraira Villas for sale

This exclusive neighbourhood was developed back in the 70s and even today is still a prime location within our town.

The Golf Club at San Jaime can be found between 10minute drive and the Marina at Moraira is also nearby.

A direct walk into Moraira village with its beautiful Blue Flag beaches, a wide range of amenities and services will take around a 20minute walk or 5 minutes by car.

The infrastructure in Benimeit is well kept periodically by the Town Hall Maintenance Service. The newest areas within Benimeit (El Tesoro, Coma de los Frailes, El Remolinar and La Colina) enjoy new infrastructure and slightly more modern facilities such as underground cables, mains drainage, street lighting and pavements. Soon main drainage will be installed in the whole area.

The name Benimeit come from the Arab invasion in the year 912. “Beni” means “Son of” in Arabic. Before the area was developed the locals use to work on the fields cultivating the local grape called “Moscatell”, which is a sweet wine.

Benimeit stands on a South facing hill and it is divided into the "Lower Benimeit" which is close to a commercial centre and the "Higher Benimeit" where the sea views are excellent.

It is one of the largest areas in Moraira with approx. 110 hectares of land mostly South, South East and South West facing.

There are several paths nearby the Benimeit Moraira villas for sale, for long walks along the vineyard fields and the mountains towards the village of Teulada.

The back of the hill still retains a rural feel from the 60's and it is a nice place for walking or for people who just enjoy a walk.
