The Secrets of Moraira

There are 3 secrets of Moraira:  The INTEGRATION of urban planing in its territory, its SUBMICROCLIMATE within a microclimate and its ESSENCE.

Architecture is defined as "the wise and magnificent play of volumes under light" according to the great master Lecorbusier, so urban could be defined as the place where "play" with the build volumes, and a territory under the light.

Moraira is located between two large mountains Cumbre del Sol and massifs of Bernia and Calpe Rock which forms valleys in a east-west direction, which allows the permeability of the easterly sea winds, and at the same time protects from the inclement weather from north-south, being its valleys protectors and capturers of its almost infinity energy.

Moraira's urban planning adapted to the orography of the territory and the low density in height of its built volume, with respect to the surface of the plots, allow almost from any place: to feel the predominant winds, creating infinity visuals to short and long distance, both to the sea and the mountains and valleys of Moraira.

Its road communication integrated in its orography, with the 2 main acceesses to Moraira, allow a connection of the territory and an almost immediate security for the inhabitants.

In my oppinion, the initial characteristics of Moraira's territory, are still preserved after the "humanization" and the passage of time, sometimes with more success and other undersirable urban actions, I would not like to forget the great natural and maritime landscapes unique in my opinion in the world, the magnificent port and the magnificent private green areas in almost every plot generating oxygen O2, so thank each owner who takes car of his garden, for their work and dedication.
